Flowers are individuals with unique and individual characteristics. Watch closely how they grow, move, and interact with other plants. Flowers have faces and lives to live, however short.
"Faces of Flowers" are portraits created in a dark studio by painting with light. The only real objects are the flowers, vases, and sometimes tables. Other lines, shapes, textures, and colors were "painted" with handheld lights using techniques developed by Darlene through experimentation.
